In the Halloween spirit of find what terrifies you and do it - I’m doing a big (little) thing!
Memento Mori Ink: Morsus Vitae
Memento Mori Ink has a new little monster!
“Morsus Vitae” (“A Bite of Life” or “Slice/Morsel of Life”) is a mini-zine of poetry and microprose inspired by death, darkness (internal and external) and all the terrible and wonderous things that go bump in the night.
Morsus Vitae is an extension of our motto “Memento Mori, Crea Ut Vivas” meaning “Remember you shall die, create so you may live”. Morsus Vitae is a monthly intimate mini-publication, available only to Memento Mori Ink Newsletter subscribers.
It’s a locked door, a hidden library shelf, a mysterious portal, a liminal space, and the shadow gallery. Inside, you’ll find slices of life cut with a scalpel, hewn from language, and reanimated with creativity.
As only Memento Mori Ink could do— just a little morsel of the dark velvet, haunted places, and barbed wire delights of poetry (and more) that catches the wicked imagination and eye of editor Pixie Bruner.
